Hello. My name is Johnny Keener. I play the guitar and sing and write songs. I have been doing that for quite a while, ever since I was a kid in West Virginia. Now I live in the new Europe, Portland Oregon. I play guitar, sing, and write songs in a variety of situations - by myself, in Yoyodyne, and in Johnny & the Bells. I also play music for kids, sometimes with Johnny and Jason and sometimes by myself. I also record other people (The Shaky Hands, The Future Historians, The Crosswalks, Mo Phillips) in Sidecar Studio, the studio that I built with my partner and sometimes co-engineer Mark Mascorro.
